It was during this event that the team at SmartSteps Inc starts to ponder of a better encouragement for users to get exercised and motivated again after a hiatus.

With more and more health complications arises, there has to be a motivation to bring users back to the healthy lifestyle that they were once were. What is more rewarding to the users than financially motivating them to relive the once healthy lifestyle that they once enjoyed.

Now that the world is opening up, it is the opportunity for all to enjoy back the freedom to live a healthier life. We scour the internet for applications that users can use to regain the lifestyle but there are very limited applications that are motivating. Most of these applications require users to opt for in app purchase but with no monetary return.

SmartSteps’ team came to a conclusion which has never been achieved before in a health app. When it comes to motivating users, we understand that a rewarding system is critical.

Recognizing this, the SmartSteps team decided to incorporate Blockchain technology with Web 3.0 into our app so that our users could earn in cryptocurrency and NFT (non-fungible tokens) that could be easily converted into fiat money at any time. The team has also included a new revenue generating distribution system in the blockchain app which will determine the value of the token without any human interference. In today's technology-driven world, rewards should be functional, transparent and “live”.
